MP3 Links

Here are the links. Remember that I've changed my system. The possible ratings are: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, Very Poor, Forget it, or Poop/Garbage. In the event that I fall behind with my updates, please email me if you find any new MP3 sites or if any of these sites go down. Thanks. Enuff blabbing. Let's get it on.

• Good - Still one of the best sites on the net. Well organized with a huge selection of Anime titles. It not only has MP3 files, but a lot of images, tools, themes, ... etc. It even has a JPOP/Seiyuu section.
• Bad - Currently experiencing a shortage of resources. Some links are down, but he keeps them there in case he finds a place to store the files. Some files are only 48 kbps @ 22 KHz. Also, the servers seem to be a bit sluggish.
• Ugly - Forces his visitors to go to his sponsor. Although it's perfectly understandable. How many of us really bother to click on those sponsor banners? About 10%? Maybe less? Sponsors play an important role in today's webpages. So I guess we really can't blame him.
• My Rating: Very Good

• Good - HUGE selection of anime titles. Includes images, sounds, movies, and music. Also well organized. Mp3 files are better quality than some of the ones on Serp's page. Personally, I think it rivals Serpent's page itself. But Serpent gets the edge with design and artistry. Plus, he's evil. I like that. >=D
• Bad - Server goes down once in a while.
• Ugly - None yet.
• My Rating: Very Good
• Status: Up and running!

• Good - Great selection of Anime titles. Music, movies, lyrics, etc. Yeesh! Got almost everything. Includes some videogame music as well. One of the better designed pages on the net. Personally, I really like it. Would've gotten a higher rating if they had some Ranma stuff, though.
• Bad - Forced to password protect the site due to morons leeching off it and to reduce traffic (damn Simplenet).
• Ugly - None.

• Good - Has ALL the Sailormoon music you need. Or so my brother says. I haven't really looked at this page, but hey, if it has all the Sailormoon music, it's gotta be good.
• Bad - Not a good place if you don't like Sailormoon.
• Ugly - Why do they spell "complete" as "compleat"? None of my business I suppose.
• My Rating: Very Good

• Good - Another huge list similar to Shion's page.
• Bad - All sorts of music with some Anime mixed in. You'll have to really search through the list.
• Ugly - Blah

• Good - Pretty big collection of anime music. Well organized. One of the first mpx sites I used.
• Bad - Site closes at a specific time. Files are predominantly mp2's.
• Ugly - None.

• Good - Enormous list of "verified" mp3 files. The page is over 300 kb. Links directly to the file.
• Bad - Songs are not sorted by Anime title. You'd have to know the title of the song you want to get. And even if you know the title, it's still pretty tough to find 'em.
• Ugly - Has not updated since 2/7/98. My guess is this is an abandoned site. But a lot of the links still work, so give it a shot if you're patient.
• My Rating: Fair

• Good - Has lots of MP3 files. Found some rare ones in here.
• Bad - The page is in Japanese(???). Not so sure. I used NJWin but it still displayed a lot of junk characters.
• Ugly - Damn Slow!!! Takes over an hour to download 3-4 MB. I even tried it on ethernet. No improvement. Although I just checked and it seems to be moving a little faster. Use only if you are desperate. Also, connection dies after a while. So use Getright if you're gonna download from here.
• My Rating: Poor

• Good - Modest collection of MP3's and Movies. Neat Java applet on main page. :) Also like the neato menu on the left frame.
• Bad - Down for the summer.
• Ugly - It's on Simplenet so there's great potential that it'll disappear someday. :(

• Good - Quite a few mp3's from select Anime series.
• Bad - Not really bad, but for some it may be. Files are recorded at 112kbps @ 48KHz. This means the music files are probably a bit faster than normal. Unless he used some cool trickery to make them play normally (it's possible with the right program). And these cannot be recorded on CD. Of course, there's always a way. =D If you don't know, I'm not gonna tell.

• Good - Best damn source of Sailormoon music. Looks like it has everything? It's a monster! I don't think I saw any other music mixed in either. Just pure Sailormoon.
• Bad - Horrible place if you despise Sailormoon. =P
